Message	a similar issue. The heater pipe nearest to the battery that goes into the block fitting had a leak at the bottom under the 90 degree bend (probably due to corrosion over the years). Owner was able to get it out with the engine in the car - plenum pulled. However it is a very tight area to work in, need mirrors, stubby ratchet, etc. -- doesn't sound like much fun!
